CRATE - A crate is more like a timber frame and mainly used where less protection and security is required.
BASES - Solid timber bases, - mainly used for heavy and robust products.
SPECIAL PALLETS - While other companies will provide vast quantities of standard size pallets we specialise in bespoke sizes in small quantities and designed individually for your product.
All our designs conform to BS 1133 quality standards. Our timber, from a sustainable source in Scotland, is Whitewood (Nordic Spruce). All ‘waste’ timber is recycled to make other products or for power generation in the Biomass industry. The environmental benefits of timber, which takes Co2 from the atmosphere and stores it in the timber and has a negative carbon impact, as a raw material are well known and proven.
ISPM15
We were among the first UK companies to sign up to the Forestry Commission’s Wood Packaging Marking Program, which subsequently became the basis of compliance with ISPM15, created and issued by the World Trade Organisation. Most trading countries in the world have now implemented the standard. Failure to comply with the standard in MOST countries could be extremely costly for the consignor as the goods could be ordered to be returned to the country of origin.
